A Quest on Overdrive … :)

An eccentric rambler on life's lessons and mercies, found and lost… :)

Stray Thoughts

Blow hard upon your thoughts.

You’ll find, perhaps,

An un-extinguished ember

Still holding that fire

Of that dream you

Sold to life.

Saving but a hopeless

Sometimes torturous

Journey to its inception.

Maybe a bubble shall form.

Of memories, of faces,

Of a hurt you thought you forgot,

Of tiny joys, tremulous

Clinging tenaciously

To that ephemeral airy space.

What would you wish for

Fire or Air?

Yep, a forced write. 🙂 The muse is tenacious at wherever she is 😛

  1. I’d wish for air — a cool soothing breeze
    Rustling through the thirsty trees
Let them embers turn to ash
    Some of them’ve been rash
They’re done with Life, let them cease!

    • You are wise, Gulshan, and content perhaps to have been through the fire and ice, and know what makes for a more easeful passage in Life.

I love love love how you put it across. That five-liner of yours is my treasure. Thank you, ever so much, for the gentle wisdom and love that always comes through 🙂

      Gulshan ❤ you're the best 🙂

  2. Wow! Intriguing! What will I find if if blow upon mine? What if it is that Pandora’s box that I did away with long back? So for the time being I shall leave them undisturbed.
