A Quest on Overdrive … :)

An eccentric rambler on life's lessons and mercies, found and lost… :)

Wait Upon My Heart

Wait upon my heart,
Oh love, to see if
I ask what you can give.

I know I shall ask
Just then, just so then
When you know, somehow,
So somehow, that you do,
You do – you have that.

Just that.
What our hearts desire.

Till then, we wait
Each day, more certain
Of ourselves.

Uncertain though,
To share that certainty.

Waiting, as we do.

  1. How much we wait — let me count the hours
Nay! That’s futile — they would fill towers
    But the infinite capacity
    Of a Heart’s entity
    Gives Patience prodigious powers!

  3. Love they say is full of gives & takes
But are you sure you can give what it takes
That which our hearts happy it makes
Willing to wait for eons for both our sakes.

Thank you for reading. Do stop a while and write in too... :)
