This space, I wonder… do I need it at all? In the staff room where I sit, there is a lovely picture of a puppy, two puppies, playing, and one of them has the tail of the other in its mouth, tugging at it 🙂
The caption above the picture says
Do not bite off more than you can chew!
Sometimes I wonder if I am actually living all those Richard Bach quotes, in life, 🙂 especially the one where he speaks of how we bring people and events into our lives, by some sheer magnetism… It had to be 🙂 (Btw, Tink, is the name of an idea fairy, in one of his books, ONE, I think!)
Every person, all the events of your life, are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.
And so, I wonder, have I? But all the same, posting in prose for me would seem out of place on A Quest…! and so I had to bite off this chunk!
It might take a bit(e), lol, to chew, and digest, but I am glad I’m making a start! I’ve always wanted to write in prose, found that it did not seem to appeal when I did, to me, and so shied away. Reading ever so many blogs of late, since I decided to spend more time on A Quest…!, has piqued my interest again, and I find myself rambling again, on a different note!
This also marks an arrival of sorts into blogsphere, 🙂 because of the fact that I have been tagged! With a little more gen on it, from various posts, I now realize the gravity and the onus upon me! It is at once a responsibility and an honour..:) Thank you Praveen, and Indian Home Maker, for that honour. I shall post in this space my takes on those tags, (Praveen’s and IHM’s) hopefully within a week.
I’d also like to thank Corrine Rodrigues, for her post on her grandmother, Recalling A Woman of Substance, for that again has prompted me to write on my grandmother. It’s almost ready, and hopefully will be the next post!
Finally to Praveen again 🙂 For making me want to seriously write in Malayalam, my mother tongue, and for helping me with the Manglish and Mal. and English.. :), thanks! I might just surprise you with a Mal. post! I hope I do 🙂 And that one would be for my grandmom too, for she had initiated me into the world of malayalam letters!
Now you see? This is what happens, when I write prose. I simply do not where to stop! I guess the best time is now, before you close this window! May God Bless us all!
Done, for now 🙂

I’ve always found it easier to compartmentalize my life; that’s why I appreciate your idea of separating verse and prose. Commenting of the first post is a privilege I’m glad you linked me to.
One of my many influential english teachers repeatedly quoted to me:
“How do I know what I think until I see what I say?
E. M. Forster “
Good luck with the writing!
P.s. Tic toc is a runaway post, I should have tagged it “free association” as warning 😀
