Claiming My Muse!

My muse, she’s generous
To a fault
She’s patience, personified.
She’s my alter ego,
Ignored. Sometimes forgotten,
Sometimes beseeched…

Always there. Waiting.
Until I’m done dithering.
Until I show her, this time
I mean it.

My Muse. See?

How forgiving she is!

  1. Fifteen pretty dots as an ode to her Muse
    Mandala-ishly, they felicitiously fuse
    Her forgiving heart
    Inspired the art
And a promise, this time, not to be a ruse!

  2. Too relatable. 🙂
“Alter ego, ignored…” I love how you describe it. Too accurate 😛
My muse, too, if I can call it that, must be exasperated beyond belief.
Let’s hope I’ll be forgiven, too, when I beseech it!
    🙂
(Psst… I’ll tell you a secret… when I’m lurking here it usually means I’m trying to rev up my own muse 😉 )
