Brings to mind the evergreen pop number that cheered football fans – Un, dos, tres 😀 Ale Ale Ale – I think. I’m a-singing that as the clock marches towards the midnight hour, in celebration of the Tres anniversary of my beloved babies – babies they be, being amongst the youngest of my brood, of that generation 🙂 But wait, I’m getting ahead of myself. Duh. It’s usually one of the two – getting ahead, or not getting there at all.
This year I’ve decided to get ahead than lose precious moments not getting there, though, it does happen sometimes that I have to not get there to get there. Savvy? No? That’s Ok too – I’m majoring, no, no, make that taking a Doctorate in How Not To Get There – I’m still getting there. If you know what I means. 😛 No? Still? Oh you! You’re new here aren’t you? No matter. You’ll learn soon enough, if you decide to stick around 😛 You’re leaving? Oh. But please, a moment? To wish them, who this is for? Oh! Thank you! You are precious too!
So, errr, where were we? Ah yes! That reminds me, today Theresa Teacher had asked me to set aside some of the multifarious tasks I had taken upon myself, since I am now in the habit of saying, “Where am I?” rather too frequently. Genuine concern there. I’m not surprised. But yes, we were here, with me asking you to stop a while, while I continue a story I started here, (LINK), continued here (LINK) at about the same time two years previously and the last year too! It’s usually the first post (nothing to do with the informative webpage of FirstPost 😛 ) – the first real post of the year, over the past couple of years. Happily enough, this year too, it is the first real meaningful write 🙂
So. Tres. Three. That is the number on the cake they might be cutting or have already cut, by the time they read this. 3 and counting… 🙂 For now, this three is really special, for Neeti has finished her Masters in Professional Engineering from the University of Sydney with flying colours, for they are together in the same city, town, house 😛 after an age of being apart due to constraints of job/study, and both of them are looking to each other, looking after each other, looking up to each other, as they partner along in life!
I like too, that their anniversary is on the day when the Sun makes that movement back to the Northern Hemisphere, the Uttarayanam, as we say it. Makes it all the more filled with the elements of the Universe conspiring to keep them bright and safe and sunny in disposition 🙂 – they were married on the 1st day of the Month of Makaram, too, when many of us celebrate beginnings and rich harvests 🙂
My wish for them, indeed from all of us, is that the Sun remains bright in their lives, lighting dark corners, and always ready to rise, after the peace of quietude of night 🙂 That thundershowers and rain might also tantalize, but rainbows bring the wonder of infinite magic. And may they always have time, for each other, for themselves, for nurturing the love through the years, knowing the certainty of that love ❤
I hope as with ever so many of your favourites, you’re singing these to each other as well 🙂 ❤

Happy Third, you darling babies 🙂 🙂 Love ya ❤ God Bless your togetherness, your steadfastness, and may new vistas open up to the best year ever 🙂 Step into your fourth with the knowing, the certainty that it is going to be the best yet 🙂 🙂
Love ya! Love ya!! Love ya!!!
13 January, 2016, for 14 January, 2016, Ashwin and Neeti’s Third Anniversary 🙂 ❤
