A Quest on Overdrive … :)

An eccentric rambler on life's lessons and mercies, found and lost… :)

Stuck

… in a rut (you think, doncha? Like I do? 😛 )
Except that I’d agree with you
Therefore, without much ado
Let me warble lines, a few.

february ramblings

This February’s ramblings are getting mindless
You agree, I know, that today’s so far is really pointless 😛
Words sashay, meandering, stumbling, it’s hilarious
How the rambler isn’t able to hold up, regardless 😛 😛

So you say, c’mon, let’s hear some sense
And puh-lease, we AREN’T quite so dense
We realize too, I hear you say, you are quite tense
But, well, we cannot simply sit on the fence 😀 😀

Ah, then, I decide, that really there isn’t any point to chase
In pretending this ramble is suggesting any in the first place 😛
I was stuck, you see, and needed that push, needed to face
That there I was, frozen for words, and in a daze

So here stops the pretence
No more utterances in my defense 😀
I promise, tomorrow, better clearance
Of ideas; and till then, I shall do penance 😀 😀

Day#8 of #RamblingsInFebruary ; like, for real, I’m not responsible for that post up there 😀
But I did enjoy having it written 😀

  1. Creative juices are flowing, I see! 😀 😀 That was real fun, Usha. As for me I am stuck too, in my “11 race to finish by 12” time slot! 😛

    • LOL. I keep thinking of your fingers tap dancing, and that is the incentive to finish something, anything. One thing I have discovered, though is that I simply cannot do theme’d’ stuff. It has to be a ramble anyday 🙂
I waited till 12 ,then got into bed, then I couldn’t resist but peek 🙂
Thanks Shail, for the discipline I am now learning too!

  2. There must be something in the planets I had that kind of day too on day 6. I was completely empty in my head. I enjoyed this poem, the ponder on the ramblings that stopped rambling 🙂

    • Lol! Rashmi it’s such a relief to know that it affects other wonderous writers too. I’ve never done this kind of a full-month blogging. Sometimes it does get nerve-wracking, and then this is the stress buster. Some pure unadulterated nonsense.
      Thanks so much 🙂

      • Neither have I. I am the write on a whim, wild kind, no discipline what so ever. So this is an exercise in consistency…I realize there is a 13 hour lag from India time to mine, so I am perpetually late for the challenge.

  4. Frozen for words huh ?? Cant believe that this post came up when you are frozen for words !!

Absolutely brilliant – it says nothing in particular, yet makes me smile with the rhymes and words 🙂

  6. She proudly proclaims that she’s stuck
Then half a deca stanzas are struck
They rush by in a blur
    For our eyes so eager
And even her nonsense leaves us awestruck!
