A Quest on Overdrive … :)

An eccentric rambler on life's lessons and mercies, found and lost… :)

I wear music
In notes you’ll never

Or notes
Perhaps, that you could have
But chose not to.

And so I shall touch
That soaring pitch
And watch you fall

Fall once more
In love, listening
To the colours you
Think you’ve painted me in…

And all the while
I wear the music
That my fingers strum
On chords taut with pain.

Online, when music moves and words blur;
All because of a song. Thanks to Dan Drake, who who shared this song

I know. It IS absurd. I’ve even tagged it so. 🙂

  1. Doesn’t seem absurd 😀

just listened to the song too…it is a nice one! Me likes – thank you! 🙂

and it looks like when the music moves, the words indeed blur but thoughts come alive 🙂 keep strumming… more of it, please!

  2. sometimes absurd is better than anything else 🙂

  3. So musical. Enjoyed that journey up and down the scales.:)

  4. I loved the way you strung the words together… after a long while, you made me feel like writing poetry myself 🙂
