Shail Mohan’s Photograph on her blog

My tendrils twirling tenaciously
Time on my side…
Tiny, yet strong
Fresh and Eager.
I aspire.
Don’t you want to?

Note: Inspired entirely by this post from Shail Mohan’s entrancing photograph. And titled similarly, in supplication of her awesome captioning skills 🙂
Shail, do excuse me for doing this without prior permission. Couldn’t help it 🙂

Shail, this one’s for you 🙂

  3. Usha, Usha! Yes I want to! You have given words to the picture 🙂 Sometimes I feel they are ballet dancers, hands raised, standing on tiptoes. At other times I feel they have raised their hands in supplication, thanking, or praising. But mostly I think they aspire for something beyond 🙂 ‘Aspiration’ was the first thought. Then since there were three of them, I chose ‘Aspirants’ 🙂
Well, pictures need poets to immortalize them! Thank you dear Ush 🙂

    • I like the wonderful way you describe it. And when I see it from that perspective, these few lines I have for this stunning picture are just empty words! The thought process is really interesting 🙂
And thank you for the warmth of your appreciation 🙂 The poet that you are, you’ve already created magic, without my words 🙂 These are but a mere distraction 🙂

      • Isn’t there so much to learn from Nature
with all of their enviable Feature
to bring them out poets like you we need exposure
and of course the shutterbug lady to give the perfect picture.

Beautiful, both the picture and the verse.

        • Ah. Thank you Govind! As you say, Nature being a teacher is what it is finally all about; if only we could learn too! And pictures like the one Shail has shared are the inspiration to do so! Combined with the words of wisdom you share as well 🙂

  4. I’d like to differently argue
    Don’t you see green tutu?
    Ballet dancers are meeting
    For tight-rope-walking competing
And am hoping that more thoughts ensue!

  5. Loved that photo by Shail. Beautiful combination of colours. And your words take it to a different level adding more life to it.
