A Quest on Overdrive … :)

An eccentric rambler on life's lessons and mercies, found and lost… :)

Why friends weren’t born in the family
And family didn’t all turn out to be friends.

How laughter and tears are just the same;
Most times, even anger and love!

How people listen, but seldom understand;
But some understand, even if nothing is said.

How words hurt, and silences heal.
But silences gouge, yet words never heal.

And Life. The biggest of them all.

  1. Conundrums… you have listed the simplest and at the same time, most profound and complicated ones! And of course, these occur very often and to most people….

    But to have said all that you did in the way you did, is what is pleasure to the eyes and a pamper to the reading senses! 🙂

  2. Ah, is this why you had shared that B.I.N.G.O waala pic today? That people listen mostly to reply and not to understand

    • Hrishi… that is right 🙂 The BINGO wala pic and the write came together in a mysterious way 😀 One complements the other… and fed the other 🙂
      Thank you for finding that link. Couldn’t not, I guess 🙂

  3. We are often ‘short on ears and long on mouth’.
    Silences gouge, they heal – how true! Life’s so full of paradoxes.

  4. The ring of truth.

  5. The people who understand without we saying anything… Gems… to be preserved for life ! 🙂

Thank you for reading. Do stop a while and write in too... :)
