The first time we met,
Didn’t seem that way!
A lifetime before,
Surely…!
But how does
The time elapsed
seem so little?
How we seemed
to just pick up
from where we
left off-
When Fate perhaps
dealt a heavy hand-
That we found difficult
to play!
And so, the Carousel
stops here, this lifetime-
And we meet – again.
Funny, isn’t it?
How life always
comes round-
A full circle!

Sort of connected mildly to the earlier post 🙂 Something that came as a sort of sequel, if you wish 🙂

“And so, the Carouselstops here, this lifetime-And we meet – again.”read both, the first one, was exciting and breathtaking, all about new love…and this one, so beautiful, slightly sad, touching, someway in which only you can write maam..

You dont leave scope for words. Do you?The carousel spins, and within the blink you cover the tapestry of images in a word-revolution!Amazing! Hope you take me into the tutioning classes of imagery 🙂

Hi Usha,Nice words there. But if you end up where you started should it always be a circle? Why can’t life come a square or a triangle, eh?Cheers,Salil

circles happen whenever we are tied to a central point…like pelted stones to sky we try to get ourselves free..but love pulls us back..and just keep on continuing our journey in endless circles..like lives of satellites..connected well.very very well written..

PRG, thank you for that wonderful response in verse! Hats off to you for the way you do it so easily :)Salil, I am not too good with geometry, and well, most often therefore go around in circles. Maybe that would explain this circle too 🙂 Thanks for being here, with each new post :)MIP, what a connection you make, and what an image you draw with words there. Something you really excel at! Thank you for the resonance also!Poonam, now you make me blush with all those superlative words :)Awww! Thank you so very very much!
