Knife

The knife twists in the wound
As I sit and watch

The pen scratches on paper
And I still feel inexperienced.

Undated

  2. The twisting knife can make only superficial wounds. A scratching pen can still cut so deep. The pen, as they say is mightier than the knife

  11. As an old adage goes – the pen is mightier… … … (Just looked up to see that it has already been quoted!)The hand that wields a pen can make wounds look “artistically brutal” as opposed to a knife’s macabre. Poetic Justice is served with a pen. Not a knife. Loved your lines. Profound as ever. :)Peace.
